Rabbit hole leads to 700-year-old secret Knights Templar network of caves

Scott revealed that the caves lead towards a network of ‘completely untouched’ walkways.

The images he took show that it’s filled with impressively carved arches.

He added that the cave didn’t offer much space, so anyone nearing or over six feet tall would have to crouch down.

He said: “I had to crouch down and once I was in it was completely silent.

“There were a few spiders in there but that was it.

“It was raining so the slope down was quite sludgy but inside the cave was bone dry.”
