Richard Hammond injured in Mozambique motorbike crash 11 years after cheating death in 288mph collision

Richard Hammond has been involved in another high-speed crash, which left him unconscious.

The much-loved presenter came off his motorbike and hit his head while filming The Grand Tour in Mozambique.

The 47-year-old apparently hit his head during the incident.

Co-presenter Jeremy Clarkson said to The Sun: “He really did hurt himself quite badly.”

When asked if Hammond was rushed to hospital, he joked: “We don’t do hospitals.”

A source from the show said: “Richard was travelling quite fast when he came off. It caused instant horror on set. There was a lot of concern.

“If his injuries had been serious it wouldn’t have been easy to get medical attention. It’s very remote there and facilities are basic.”
